Citizens of the State!
For far to long have the Caldari State chosen a neutral stance towards the vile gallente. We gained our independence, but lost our backbone.
Today begins a new era. the long awaited campaign against Gallente Corporations on the border to caldari space, in caldari space and in gallente space has begun.
The goal of this campaign is simple. To erradicate the scum that is gallente and all that support them. To weed out their business in Caldari space and let the State and its citizens economy bloom. To take what is rightfully ours.
Today my friends... the Caldari will be reborn.
We will never forget Caldari prime, and now the redemption has begun.

So you're saying that your plan is to increase the economic health of the State by eliminating a major portion of its market? Cleeeeeeverrr...
No, Dividing the market between more.... worthy Races. For example, without quafe, Starsi will profit more no?
Cassius... your federation WILL burn, it may take years.. but the result will be the same. I will see you on the battlefield. |

Allthough im reluctant to discuss this further, i will point out a few things.
This is not as much about business as it is revenge. I find it funny how you all speak of a strong Caldari State and call yourselves patriots while you loath in your own wealth.
Svetlana obsesses about us being pirates allthough i hanvent seen her do anything to prove her loyalty or patritism appart from her own words. How do you contribute to the state? how do you show loyalty?
You might feel that cuddeling with the Caldari navy agents will highten your self esteem and give you some honor. That might be true, but it does nothing towards the goal. It gives you money, pays your bills, and the rest is thrown in your pockets.
Just remember this... our ancestors fought the gallente and died to GIVE you that independence. To give you all the rights today, if it had not been done... if the blood of all those caldari had not been spilled by the hands of the federation scum, the caldari would be nothing more than second class citizens in a federation undoubtably not caring for our wellbeing.
Speak patriotism all you want, unless you act, it means nothing. |

Edited by: Kyogen Steiner on 31/01/2006 21:21:42 Or we could have ended up like the Intaki as second class citizens? I chose independence and so should the intaki.
Or has the federation stepped up the protection of the homeworld yet? *laughs* |

Interesting attempt to confuse the issue. It fails, however. You're welcome to talk to me about the Intaki when you're less blinded by militant extremism. In the meantime, reconsider your motives. The big picture shows you repeating the mistakes of the past.
confusing of what? that the federation does not care about your homeworld? or did i miss something? I fail to see whats confusing about me asking you a question that you have yet to answer.
Have a look at what the federation has done/not done to the intaki people. I may be millitant, but ignoring the fact that the federation does not care for your homeworld makes their attitude towards "assimilated" races quite obvious dont you think? Im sure the women and children dying at the hands of the massive pirate infestation there would agree. |

You are confusing the issue by, in your "question," artificially creating a corollary between the Intaki and the Caldari to justify terrorist attacks on the Federation.
The differences between the plight of the Intaki homeworld and the Caldari secession are so vast as to be completely incomparable, and the fact that you attempt to liken the two for your reckless purpose is an insult to each culture's respective history.
Really? please explain how, and try to be more specific please. |

Originally by: Dev Larren Kyogen Steiner tests the loyalty of one of my pilots on the grounds of what she has done for the state. The answer is easy: She has never violated State laws by contravening the Yulai Accords; She has never sought to jeapordise the albeit uneasy peace that has existed for nearly 100 years. She has continued to abide by the policies of the Caldari State without question.
I questioned her "patriotism" as she questioned mine. It has nothing to do with any of it. She is bitter about something, or else she would not be so narrow minded in her wording or constant bashing over something she dosnt even try to understand. I dont blame her, nor do i feel a need to explain my actions now nor in past events.
I know what i want, i know what i hate and whatever happens, We will continue this campaign. The blood has allready started to spill. |

I think the Admiral's well written words say enough here.
Originally by: Dev Larren We are Caldari. We have an identity independent of other races. We do not need to establish our identity through expression of how much we hate the Gallente. Such expression is the sign of people who are not secure in their identity.
Furthermore, any group that expresses the desire to exterminate an entire race is identical in mind-set to the Federation Navy commanders who ordered the orbital bombardment of Caldari Prime. It would seem that some supposed "Caldari" need to look at how "Gallente" they have become.
Continiue to bash what you again do not understand. I will not reveal all the goals with the campaign here, but it has been planned for some time and has alot of silent support within caldari ranks. Why? Because they took the time to listen... to find out all the facts behind it.
I guess that seems to be a trait missing among many of my breathen now. I am motivated by hate. But that is my personal feelings. Again, bash all you want caldari "patriots".
I ask you, what do you have to lose? you are safe with your Navy agents picking off Gallente navy units in covert operations anyway. Why should you care? That should be a bigger trigger to start a war between the federation and State than what we have begun is it not?

Its funny you should ask this as you where called Caldari "extremist" not that long ago. Serving under a gallentean in the Star Fraction dramatically changed you over night.
Its not uncommon to see people like you jump on the bandwagon whenever it fits you, You bring nothing new, you do not understand, but you still speak. I find it amusing but im not suprised. When you where a young pilot, you where the same. You have not changed in that manner. But you are still free to repeat what other pilots say as much as you like.

Originally by: ArchDukeFranz (OOC: I can't help but noticing people are not really acting like caldari, first imagine if the capital of the country where you live was taken over by another state, or if you have no patriotism then imagine someone taking over part of your home. Come back to the idea of Caldari Prime, imagine you have friends who died trying to defend the planet because you probably would. Also the Caldari people aren't the kind to consider the horrors of war, they are extremely combatant, as the backstory says "they are steeped in military tradition", so come on, get rid of your real world politcal views and start roleplaying)
( allthough thats my roughly my view of the caldari aswell, there will allways be different groupings.. i mean, serk for instance is more towards the extremist, while other groups seem more liberal. There will allways be these kind of groupings. But the hate towards the gallenteans that was shown a year or so back has diminished alot, if this had happend a year ago or more this would have MAJOR support, as many organisation smal and large where doing the same thing and had a very large public support group. )
We have nothing more to say on this matter, blood is drawn and this campaign will continiue with or without the support of various groups.
clipped wings... i have layed my hand on your people just as i said i would. You know where to find me scum. |

Allthough i thoroughly Enjoy seeing all these caldari angered and worked up over something, im afraid that it wasnt this i had in mind.
If you want to discuss at this level, please take it to the local plessure hubs or bars. We have a mission/goal that we are working hard to reach and petty bickery between Caldari citizens about something else is hardly helping nor wellcome.
I ask you that have nothing to say about the original matter at hand to either take it outside or work it out in private.
Hail caldari. |

With the recent news of the minmatar imigrants serving as cheap(free?) labour within the federation industry literally destroying the Caldari corporations with their cheap prices, i think it would be fair to say that alltough Caldari technology is the finest and caldari steel the strongest, the federation has still found a way to degenerate our products with cheaper replicas.
All of those still clinging to the thought that destroying the Gallente market would be bad for the state would to good to see the recent developments. This is just the begining. Our honorable Producion corporations suffer due to sneaky gallente work ethics and still you claim that the federal market "is better left alive".
As strikeclone pointed out, why not smack them around a bit until they start working our way.... aleast untill the end? |
